Hal ini mendorong saham dan obligasi untuk menilai kembali kemungkinan suku bunga global yang lebih tinggi.
Surat berharga pemerintah AS mengalami penurunan, mendorong imbal hasil dua tahun mencapai level tertinggi sejak 2007, sementara imbal hasil 10 tahun di Inggris melonjak ke level tertinggi sejak 2008.
Indeks Spot Dolar Bloomberg naik kurang dari 0,1%, menguat untuk hari kedua berturut-turut.
Pasar tenaga kerja AS menunjukkan tanda-tanda ketahanan baru pada hari Kamis (6/7), dengan adanya lonjakan perekrutan di sektor swasta, penurunan PHK, dan pengajuan tunjangan pengangguran yang tetap relatif rendah.
Sektor jasa AS mengalami pertumbuhan tercepat dalam empat bulan pada bulan Juni karena meningkatnya aktivitas bisnis dan pesanan.
Pasangan USD/JPY turun sebanyak 0,8% menjadi 143,56.
Deputi Gubernur Bank of Japan, Shinichi Uchida, menyatakan bahwa pendekatan “seimbang” harus diambil untuk mengubah kebijakan pengendalian kurva imbal hasil, seperti yang dilaporkan oleh Nikkei berdasarkan wawancara.
Pasangan EUR/USD naik sebesar 0,3% menjadi 1,0883 setelah sebelumnya turun sebanyak 0,2% menjadi 1,0834.
Pesanan pabrik di Jerman mengalami kenaikan pada bulan Mei, menunjukkan kemungkinan redanya perlambatan dalam sektor manufaktur karena ekonomi terbesar di Eropa tersebut keluar dari resesi.
Pasangan GBP/USD naik sebesar 0,3% menjadi 1,2739; saat ini pasar sepenuhnya menentukan harga terminal di atas 6,5% pada bulan Maret, yang akan menjadi level tertinggi sejak 1998, dibandingkan dengan taruhan pada level 5% hanya beberapa bulan yang lalu. (Arl)
